Peanut Butter Texas Sheet Cake - Karen's

Mix together in mixing bowl, then set to the side:
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
2 Cups Sugar
½ teaspoon Baking Soda
¼ teaspoon Salt

Place in medium saucepan:
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Water
1/3 to ½ Cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Bring to a boil, turn off and add to dry ingredients.  Mix until well blended then add:
2 Eggs, beaten
½ Cup Buttermilk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Mix until well blended than pour into a greased 15”x10” jelly-roll pan.  Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake springs back when gently touched.  Spread Peanut Butter Icing over warm cake.

Peanut Butter Icing:
Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil.  Remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla.  Mix until spreading consistency – you want to POUR it over the cake and be able to spread without trouble.

½ Cup Butter
¼ Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1/3 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon Milk
1 (16oz.) Package Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Enjoy!
